I have a Nikon D90 and mostly use my 300 mm lens (AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-300 mm f/4.5-5.6 G IF-ED) for animal photos. For big or very close animals and other photos like landscapes I use a AF-S DX Nikkor 18-105 mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR. I always use an UV filter (Hoya UV(0)). Where do you take photos of all these animals? I love to observe and photograph free living animals, especially birds. Photos of them can be found in this gallery folder:[link] I also visit zoos and other locations which keep animals. My favourite places are Zoo Vienna ([link]) and Aqua Terra Zoo ([link]). My photos of zoo animals are here: [link] I like to draw/paint animals. Can I use your photos as reference? Yes, but only for a non-commercial use and you have to give me credit!
